Sam Bone represents clients across Etowah County in family law, criminal defense, and estate planning, probate, and bankruptcy matters. Like his father before him, Sam built his reputation as a lawyer who won't let his clients get pushed around — a philosophy this Gadsden native picked up early, and one that still shapes how he handles every case that comes through the door. Read more about the Bone family's history at the firm.

Sam has served as the featured speaker for the Etowah County Bar Association's Family Law Seminar every year since 2016, and he's written on family law and criminal defense topics for a number of state and national publications (see below).

Sam was raised in Gadsden and was part of the last graduating class of Gadsden High School before it became Gadsden City High School. He's married to Kimberly Whitaker Bone, and between them they have four kids — Brooks, Claire, Ellie, and Riley — plus a full house of pets and horses. When he's not in the office, you'll usually find Sam at Gadsden’s Church of the Highlands, traveling with the family, working the farm, or at CrossFit.
